This was a lovely art deco pub with accommodation units at the rear. Units were older motel style, not large but very comfy and quiet with tea and toast facilities and good plates, cutlery etc. We had dinner at the hotel (popular place, good to book) and the food was particularly excellent, very good chefs. Local wine selection was also very good. Not too far a drive from Wilson’s Promontory, around 45 minutes. We had a great night, highly recommend this pub stay.

I would have preferred staying in the old hotel but we were in a newer motel beside the hotel. Convenient but no atmosphere.

Great location close to the rail trail. Accom was basic but fine for our one night stay during a bike packing holiday. Staff friendly and helpful, bistro food was good, one person thought the food expensive for a pub but the serves were very generous for hungry cyclists and main meals came with plenty of vegetables 😀

The bistro was ok .

Our room consisted of a bed which was comfortable and clean after that there was nothing to compliment. No TV no tea or coffee in the room, only available in hallway with only a few cups to service all other guests no bottle water or drinking glasses to consume water from tap in communal bathroom no fridge . Dust on ceiling fan and timber blinds. Whilst this is a budget stay the proprietor should understand the additional revenue generated from Bistro should be a serious consideration for guest to have reasonable accommodation. We won’t be returning.

The room was a good size, it was clean and very comfortable. We had dinner at the pub which was very good - great food. Fish Creek is such a lovely town. A great stop with the kids. Next time will bring our bikes to use the trail.

The bathroom was clean, but needs an uplift with paint peeling off the walls. TV and internet reception was very poor.
