THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT AREA TO VISIT THE OTWAYS WITHOUT THE 'HYPE' PLUS THE GELLIBRAND HOTEL IS CLOSE AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT FOR MEALS AND FRIENDLY ATMOSPERE. THE SCENERY IN AREA PLUS THE OTWAYS TREA TOP WALKS AND LOCAL WATEFALLS ARE WITHIN EASY REACH,

Rooms were good.

Location is far for great ocean road. But it is very near the otway national park

It nice and cosy.

The tv didn't work.

Amazing location right in the middle of the Otways area, easy to get to Colac, the Great Ocean Road and everything in between (high ropes courses, waterfalls). Everything seemed to be in that 30 minute - 1 hour drive away which was perfect for a quick stay where we had to be efficient with our days activities. Nice local cafe/store a couple of minute walk away was a huge bonus for a morning coffee and food. Gluten free breakfast wrap option for a Celiac that they very kindly made for us (no reaction to the food made). It has fuel as well if required. Koalas making noises in the trees right next to our cabin, we didn't end up finding the one we could hear, but apparently they are in the trees at the park :) Very cost effective for a family of 5. One of our kids got unwell, and they arranged alternate bedding with no fuss (thank you!).

Just a quick note, not necessarily regarding the accommodation as it could have been from anywhere during our stay in thee area, but we ended up on filtered water (bought from the cafe/store at a reasonable price) as we all got a little queasy. No issues with the taste of the tap water from the park, and the local shop has most things you night need in a pinch, so don't let it deter.
