Kahere Retreat

The concept is excellent, but the execution left a lot to be desired. The setting is lovely.

As soon as we walked into our cottage the smell from the bathroom was off putting. The stairs up to the bedroom are definitely not to code and are dangerous. Everything just seemed cheap, from the towels to the kitchen equipment, the curtains, for what we paid compared to others in that price range that we've stayed in over the last 2 weeks it was hands down the worst value for money.

The tranquility, beings around a tourist hotspot but you wouldn’t know it. Lots of thought has been put into the accommodation, heaters, fans, extensions leads, hair dryer.

No microwave.

Sehr schöne ruhige Lage 5 Minuten ausserhalb von Franz Josef. Die cottages sind mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Sauna und whirlpool topp gepflegt.

Nichts. Alles bestens

The design and thought that went into this chalet retreat community was amazing! Though out of town, the tiny house itself made you not want to leave.

I wish I had thought to turn up the heat overnight. It was very cold waking up in the morning.

Cute chalet located 8 minutes outside of the town centre, offering tranquility and calm yet just a short drive from shops and restaurants. The chalet contains everything you need and is impeccably clean. Lovely hosts who have put a lot of thought and effort into the property. Frankie the dog gave us a very warm welcome.

It is a little tight for four people with suitcases - this chalet would suit a couple of group of three with small suitcases. Also beware of mosquitos in Franz Josef!
