The Catar Cottages

The stay offered an oasis of peace. You stay in a cottage surrounded by plants. It has everything you need. You can get drinking water, and the breakfast is basic but delicious. It’s also easy and affordable to rent a scooter or arrange taxis. You can book various well-organized tours directly through the accommodation. But above all, we were most impressed by the host. He’s always there for you and genuinely does his best to make your stay enjoyable. He is helpful and incredibly kind. I would 100% recommend this place!

Probably the best place I have been during my trip in Indonesia. Convenient location, charming place and Nyoman is the nicest, most helpful host. Better than my mom 😅.

Had a great stay experience as a solo female traveler. The owner arranged day tours for me, as well as drop off& pick up from the restaurants / bars I wanted to try. Even escorted me on his motorbike back from a local warung with great fresh food (and more than reasonably priced) that he recommended. Plus the accommodation is absolutely lovely and gives a sense of wilderness but safety too. It’s full of tropical vegetation! The whole island experience staying at this place (for 4 nights) was the best option for me especially since I’m not driving a motorbike. Totally recommend it!

Great location, very conveniently place to go and see the sights - great big room, very clean, all looks very new - shower pressure was the best I’ve had in my month long trip! Nyoman is friendly and can help with boat trips and other activities - he recommended a beautiful place to go for sunset! Scooters are available to rent there - possibly in better condition than the ones from the harbour Getting around without a scooter is a challenge on this island Recommend this place!

Nothing - the only thing, the drinking water from the dispenser was quite warm

Lovely cottage in a beautiful garden. Breakfast delivered at the room each morning and home grown fruit. Super friendly staff, very helpful and accomodating tour of the island and driving to restaurants and harbour.
