Casa maar -Treetop tent

everything is great: hosts, view, room and food. can only recommend !

We have been to many amazing hotels in Costa Rica, for example, Tabacon, but this apartment is simply incredible. It is very hard to top Casa Maar. The views are breathtaking and waking up to the various animals from the jungle is amazing. If you are looking for something exceptional, this is a definitely the right decision

Casa Maar was a beautiful property full of incredible views and vegetation. David took great care of us and the breakfast was a particular highlight looking out on the lagoon. Like most places we went in Costa Rica, you really need to make sure you rent a 4X4 SUV.

The view is simply amazing, waking up and looking down to the lake from your bed. The hosts of this family owned business are super lovely and you feel very welcomed.

The room is great with a breath taking view you won't find in a lot of hotels around the place. The setup of the room was inmersive and it felt like luxury camping somehow. David was an excellent host, he was always kind and willing to assist us whenever we needed. The food was great also. The jacuzzi has a stunning view to the Laguna Hule as well. You can also have breakfast in your room while admiring the view. You can kayak or paddleboard on the lake with a guided tour. And it's close to other tourist locations around Poas volcano. A place worth paying a visit to. The tourism activity around the community is quite new, so I really recommend visiting Casa maar or nearby lodgings to support and help tourism growth there.

The road to get to the place is not in the best state, you can drive your 2WD vehicle without further issues, but slowly.

The most stunning view! I have never seen something like this! The owner is super nice and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The food that was cooked by the owners father was amazing as well.
