La Cochon Rose Motel

Location. Great value.

We had such a lovely stay, we wish we could've stayed longer! Everything about the property was lovely, and our host was wonderful, incredibly helpful and insightful! I travelled with my Gran who absolutely adored the detail that had gone into decorating the rooms and everything else about our stay! The motel is in a great spot on the main street, a short walk or drive to the shops!

The main hallway above the stairs could probably do with another light for visitors with poor vision, everything else is fantastic!

Clean bedding and towels.

Whole cabin had a terrible smell due to wet carpet near the fridge. It was hard to breathe in there. Had the carpet been clean this would have been a nice, vintage style cabin stay. Staff clearly took good care of towels and bedding.

Lovely old world feel. Helpful staff on call.

Location and access to shops and restaurants was good. Loved the wisteria which was in full bloom when we visited. Text on check-in and check out simplified the process.

Access to the units was difficult, and parking was awkward as there was not much space to maneuver. There was no garden space that we were aware of and outside seating overlooked the carpark and did not have garden views.
