Dated but very clean and tidy. Parking a bit difficult

We stayed in this charming, character-filled apartment for only one night for a work trip. There was only two of us (and a dog), so we had plenty of choice when it came to choosing a bedroom! We loved the space, the old-world decor and the location was amazing! Despite being on the main street in town, it was not noisy at all. Beds were comfortable, shower was great, and kitchen well equipped (though we didn’t need it). Easy check in/out process - I will definitely be considering this place again on our return trip to St Arnaud!

It was only a minor thing as we only stayed for one night, but we couldn’t get the tv to work! If we were there longer, I’m sure we could have easily resolved the issue with the owner who was very lovely!

The Wisteria arch framing the verandah and the main guest house was beautiful. The huge climbing rose on the main building was spectacular in size. The bed linen and towels were all nice and the shower was hot and had a good flow stream, The bed was comfortable. The 70's vibe did not detract from the convenience or comfort. For us, the best part was being to have our well travelled "petite chief" with us.

The garden outside of the buildings could do with a tidy up to match the spectacular climbing rose and wisteria. Some people were having a long heated discussion in a foreign language in the middle of the night up the alleyway from the Main Street and woke us up. It took us a while to settle after that.

It is conveniently located on the main road, the bed is comfortable, self check-in is great especially when you come in late, vintage feel & interiors

Renovations could be better

The motel is close to the town centre, clean and affordable. No road noise as it's away from the road.
