La Cochon Rose Motel

Great location. Right in town.

Carpark was very dark

Loved the history of this old building and the location right in town is great.

The bathroom is very old and dated.

Old needed update. Bed was sagging. AC didn’t work. Shower felt dodgy.

The room at La Cochon Rose Motel was clean and the bedlinen and towels were a good quality. Parking accessible.

The motel is very old and the room small. There are five to six rooms in the motel and they are at the back of a very run down looking hotel. We could only get the ABC on the TV..not helpful when my partner's team is playing in the footy. Bathroom was ancient, with a tiny handbasin (could not fit the electric jug under the cold water tap to fill it up). The fridge made a noise all night.

Spacious apartment, comfortable beds, good kitchen

Tall ceilings and only bedroom heaters meant apartment was cold. Stools at kitchen bench would be useful.

So much potential but much work to do. Was furnished and styled very nicely.

Was freezing in winter. Several heaters but impossible to keep warm unless under the covers.
