Hotel JADE

Un hotel muy bonito y tranquilo. El servicio,la comida y atenciones excelentes. Las camas muy cómodas.Nos ofrecieron excursiones en los alrededores que resultaron ser experiencias inolvidables. Muy recomendable.

Una habitación no tenía agua caliente.

If you are looking for old fashioned family service, then you must come to this place. Alberto, Francia and Kevin were the best hosts I have ever encountered. This being a small town, felt big because of the welcome we received from our hosts. Not only did they provide yummy meals, but they organised the transfers to and from from El Chepe train and also some tours showcasing the area. The room was really clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Great location on the square. The hosts were friendly - they picked me up from the train station, and offered meals.

As other reviewers have said, the facilities are basic - eg no hot water, and no water overnight. But it’s a fairly remote town, so I think that’s reasonable. I wasn’t that cold without heating (although I did use the bedding from both beds). I felt a little unsafe in town, and the sliding door to my room didn’t lock. There’s not much to do in Cerocahui.

The hotel is excellent the hosts are wonderful and the tours they offer are great. We highly recommend them and their hotel.

The staff were excellent hosts. They were helpful with advise about things to do and setting me up with a guide. The restaurant was fabulous and the food was amazing and all at a very good value. It was the first room that I had on my trip with a really nice view. I highly recommend Hotel Jade to anyone going to Cerocahui.

The room they gave us was nice, clean and big, with good bright windown. The hotel is comfortable, down to earth and friendly. There’s a restaurant and food served is quite good. Alberto is very friendly, a good guide, speaks good English. Despite disregarding our requests, and instead catering specially for a bigger group, he did took us to Gallego, Urique, and the cascadas. Overall the tours are very nice.

No socket near the bed. In entire room there’s only 2 sockets. The toilet flush was broken, we asked to be fixed & was not done. Finally we fixed it by ourselves. I messaged via booking.com for 2 times about tours & transportation, but they never reply me.

The staff. What a wonderful couple that run the hotel. So accommodating. Gave us so much local knowledge and was fun to boot! We will definitely be back.
