The traditional experience, the friendly staff, and peaceful neighborhood. The inn owner gave us a complimentary ride to the bus station when it was raining. So much kindness and hospitality!

The area was more rural than we realized when we booked. Since we traveled there by train then bus, we were on foot for dinner options. Unfortunately, we waited too long to go out to find a meal and were not able to find anything!

Spent here 2 nights during our trip through Japan. We wanted to enjoy the real Japanese home, and we got it! Very sweet couple of owners: super friendly, they even dropped us to the station when we were leaving. Mt. Fuji is just in from of the window - view is perfect, however you must keep in mind the weather. We walked around in the night to enjoy clear sky with stars, fresh air, and absolute quietness. The last bus goes from the station at 17:38, it is better if you rent a car. 20-25 minutes walking and there is big public Onsen, where we had an amazing time. Restaurants in the area: we found 1, and it was fine. Lawson, 7/11 are available in walking distance.

The shower is Japanese style as well, so you can be culturally shocked. Super cold room, my husband doesn't like this discomfort, I managed somehow to take a shower. But, again, it is not bad, just very different from what we used to.

The lady who owns the place was so friendly and adorable, she even gave us a lift to the train station the next morning. We had the most amazing view of Mt Fuji out of our room window. Lovely Onsen baths.

Everything was perfect.

Room with direct view onto Mt. Fuji, perfect to wake up to at sunrise. Very kind and helpful hosts, who drove me to the nearby onsen shortly after arriving, and then dropped me off at the station the next morning. Despite not speaking English, they make themselves understood using Google translate. Heater and AC warmed up the room enough, so made it comfortable despite sub zero temperature outside. Very affordable accommodation for the area, especially considering it has an uninterrupted mountain view. Quiet area, away from the hustle of Kawaguchiko centre which is very touristy and feels like a ski resort.

Everything. The room was very comfortable with a view of Fuji-san. The hosts were a delight, they make you feel like one of the family! I will definitely stay here again & I recommend to everyone.

Absolutely breathtaking view of Fujisan from our window! Amazing onsen 30 minute walk away. Very good shared facilities: fridge, microwave, bathrooms, showers. Our lovely hosts also offered us a lift to the station on checkout.

The location is slightly out of the way, so some planning is required for transportion and food.

-Grandma "Obachan", who's managing the place was very friendly and always smiling. -Very nice view of Mt Fuji from our window. -room size was enough for our family and heating was warm enough.

- i'd prefer to have separate toilets for boys and girls.
