Clean, very friendly staff, good location for travellers with a car, fantastic views on Fuji, dead quiet at night, standard Minshuku

Beds a bit too hard for our liking

We are glad that our room has a good view of Mt. Fuji. Looking outside the window was the first thing I did in the morning. The tatami room is spacious and clean. Both the house and the environment are quiet and peaceful.

The house is a bit far away from Kawaguchiko station. We took the blue line bus and got off at stop 73 to get there. The last bus is at 5:30pm.

The properly owner very kind and friendly. Aunty serve us a breakfast if you are come with a bunch of guest. So that Aunty can prepare the meal. I like their Japan traditional house design, can give more experience on this. There have view of Mt fuji in room. Luckily we got it.

Kawaguchico station local bus to minshuku Kobayashi last bus in before 6pm. We miss the bus, end up we need to take taxi to destination, cost 3.5k Yen. But, you guys can early arrange pickup with owner. I think they will help to pick you up from station. Hope this can help you all prepare time to get the bus to journey. Owner only know Japanese, so prepare translate or arrangement early in booking process. Easily to communicate thru App.

We could walk to the lakes and around Kawaguchiko adn really felt we were in the countriside which in itself has it's charm. I loved the idea of sleeping in a traditional Japanese house - you sleep on a mattress, the bathroom had all the amenities and plus there is a traditional bath there. They picked us up at the train station and also dropped us off - the owners were very nice, even though they didn't sleep English we managed to have a nice stay there.

It takes a bit to get used to the traditional way of sleeping and the mattress.
