Minshuku Irayoi

朝食夕食ともに、とっても！！美味しくいただきました^_^石垣産、白保産、お庭産‥と地元の食材をふんだんに使った栄養満点のお料理が最高！期待以上でした！！ そして、オーナーさんご夫妻のお人柄もとても素敵。実家？親戚のお家？に帰ったようなアットホームな雰囲気に大人だけでなく子ども達も「落ち着くー」と言いながら、まるで我が家のように過ごさせていただきました。人見知りだったはずの3歳の娘がオーナーさんに1人でついて回るほど大好きになっていたのには驚きました^_^小さな子どもにもわかるくらい魅力的なお人柄だったのだと思います。帰り際にいただいた可愛く綺麗なおまもりは、大事な箱に入れていました♡ご飯を美味しく炊く秘密、実践しています！ またいつか石垣に行く際はまたお世話になります！こちらのお米、持って行きますね！！

オーナーさんが温かく迎えてくださり、すてきな思い出ができました。夕ごはんも朝ごはんも、おいしいご飯と体にやさしいお料理で大満足でした。ガイドさんやタクシーの相談にも親身にのってくださり、ありがたかったです。

島のものを独自に研究された味付けや、見せ方などの料理は、とても素晴らしく希望朝食時間にも対応してくださり美味しかったです 空心菜、パパイヤ、ゆし豆腐、八重山諸島でしか食べることのできない食材もいただけたのでびっくりしました。 あと立派な三線も弾かせてもらえましたね、 オーナーさんの生唄がとても耳薬になりました！ ありがとうございます！

完璧な清掃や、部屋といううのは普通の民宿でもなかなか、無いと思いますし、亜熱帯気候風土の為石垣島などは特に湿気の多さで、カビなどの対策は大変だと思いますがお部屋のクーラーなどは定期的にチェックされたほうが良いのでは？と思いました！

We had a wonderful time at Minshuku Irayoi. Sachi and her husband are very kind and generous people and they treated us very well. They gave us many informations and helped us with our requests. The room was clean and comfortable. I really recommend this place!

Staying at Minshuku Irayoi was a wonderful experience. The property is clean, charming, and a short walk from the bus stop and Shiraho beach, full of marine life. Free shower and laundry soap, washing machine and tumble dryer are also available, which is convenient. Outstanding meals prepared by one of the minshuku owners, who is also a local artist. Do make time for a chat with her and her husband, who are happy to provide tips and recommendations for things to do in the area, and who facilitate conversation with other guests if staying for meals. Chances are you will spend a lovely evening getting to know fellow travellers around drinks and music. Stay at Irayoi if you're interested in learning about real Ishigaki life and culture!

Very comfortable, clean,, friendly owner, great breakfast. Fantastic showers.

Can be hard to find in the dark if you arrive by bus, despite the map because the "landmarks" on the map are not obvious. It's actually very near the bus stop but I still got lost in the dark. I should have asked for instructions from the bus stop in advance.
