Minshuku Irayoi

Absolutely delicious food for dinner and for breakfast - beautifully presented, local cuisine with fresh ingredients from the garden. Lots of care and attention given to the meals. Some of the best food we had during our stay in Japan. Nice warm welcome and a friendly feel to the place. Clean loos and shower rooms with good shampoo and conditioner. Useful to be able to use the washing machine.

The futons were a little thin. Location very useful for the airport but otherwise a bit limited. It's in a residential area which is interesting but there isn't much going on. Great opportunity to gain an insight into the local life though and it was very peaceful.

From room to the meals, everything was perfect! And the best part was the owner letting us walk their dogs! Loved the conversation with the owners and got to know all the local information!

Very friendly owners and great food. If you want to experience Ishigaki from a local perspective away from the tourist hub, this is a great place.

The food was very good indeed I also had dinner there and I liked it very much. The location is perfect- right next to the beach and near airport and town

I was shocked at the amount of plastic on this beautiful beach! All came from the shipping trade and from china. The rocks are covered by plastic and the amount of plastic bottles was awful. I think the community should clean up and the government should talk to China to find a way to stop this. It’s shocking!!!

The food was homemade and delicious! Staff was very friendly and had good recommendations. Personally, I also really enjoyed playing with their dogs as well.
