Yoshii Ryokan

Great location, friendly staff

Ryokans are an amazing Japanese experience and Yoshii certainly was from the greeting to to goodbye. It's located in the heart of Kurashiki on a mostly walking street. Very quiet, especially after dark.

We're getting too old to sleep on the floor. The mats are comfortable enough but getting up and down takes effort. We also had no control over garden lights which were kept on all night.

Fabulous calm atmosphere - they have thought of everything! Delicious food, impeccable service

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bath, quiet and soothing. The dinner was a very delicious traditional Japanese course meal, exquisitely prepared and privately served.

Esthétique très plaisante à l'oeil. Personnel très affable, sympatique et anglophone. Expérience culturelle géniale avec yukata et repas traditionnel fait par un chef, le tout dans l'ambiance du quartier historique.

J'aurais aimé que pour le repas une boisson soit incluse autre que l'eau et le thé. Il a fallu payé si on voulais un autre type de boisson. Seul petit bémol.

Nothing to dislike

The meals were extraordinary. So much quality and choice. All of our contact with the staff was wonderful. Everyone was so helpful and courteous.

Our time at Yoshii Ryokan was just perfect.
