Ein wunderbarer alter Ryokan mit einem hervorragenden Bad. Große Zimmer. Sehr zentral gelegen.

Das Schlafen auf Futons muss man mögen. Zur traditionellen Kultur gehört es ganz bestimmt. Eas uns wirklich gestört hat, war das Essen am Abend. Obwohl es sich auf den ersten Blick um ein schönes Keiseki Menü handelte, war es auf den zweiten Blick doch enttäuschend: Viele Gänge waren fad, eine Zeitlang zuvor zubereitet und wirkten deshalb nicht mehr frisch. Außerdem hat die Servicekraft das Menü in inglaublicher Eile durchgezogen, vielleicht weil sie nach Hause wollte. Angesichts des hohen Preises geht das gar nicht. Wir würden sicher nicht wiederkommen.

Everything about Yoshii Ryokan was great! Lovely hostess will see to your every need. The food was beautiful and fabulous. The service impeccable. Enjoyed the super hot bath and the location was perfect. Large, comfortable room.

Everything was truly perfect for us, but tall people, be aware you may have to kneel to use the bathroom sink like my companion did!

Located just a street up from the famous canal in Kurashiki, this ryokan was truly exceptional. All of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I asked several questions over messages at booking.com before we arrived, and they were highly responsive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well decorated, with small touches making them more beautiful still. The private baths were lovely, and the breakfast and dinner (included for our room) were incredibly fresh and delicious. They were easily able to accommodate one of my party's dietary restrictions, and also made provided porridge with breakfast when they heard one of us wasn't feeling well. They were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay!

I would just recommend adding a little more English signage, especially in front of the ryokan itself.
