Kadowakikan

Close to the bottom lift, you can jump on there and ski/board down to the main gondola. Onsen onsite is very convenient and, they also do meals in house if you book. Plenty of room in the equipment dry room and the main area is cool so you don’t start sweating when you’re getting ready.

Little bit of a walk from the town centre if you’re heading out for dinner. Still plenty of options within 10min walk.

設備は古く決してモダンではないが、隅々までよく手入れされていて快適に過ごすことができた。宿泊客に快適に楽しく過ごしてほしいというオーナーのホスピタリティを感じた。オーナー以外のスタッフも皆親切。街の中心部までは徒歩で20分程度掛かるが、柄沢ゲレンデまで徒歩約7分、シャトルバスを使う場合はバス停まで徒歩約2分程度なのでスキーをする場合も何ら問題は無かった。古き良き日本の伝統的なスキー宿をお探しなら、とてもお勧めの宿です。

We had a great stay at Kadowakikan. The host is super helpful and speaks English. He offered to pick us up at the bus stop which was really nice after a day of travelling. The building is a bit older, but has a lot of charm. It’s close to a skilift that allows you to go to the main resort lift. The (shared) onsen was nice and clean. The japanese futon beds were comfortable too. All in all a great stay at a great value. Overall, we enjoyed it and would book again. Thank you for the great hospitality!
