Agate Beach Motel

Discovered this tiny gem of a motel on Trip Advisor. My teenager and myself stayed one night and it was fantastic. The location and views are fabulous. They have a fire pit at night and provide the makings for S'mores. Unit was very clean, quiet and the motel personnel were very friendly. I would stay there again.

The motel is in an amazing location overlooking Agate Beach and Yaquina Head. The room I rented (#7) exceeded expectations. Clean, spacious, and well-appointed. It had a complete kitchen, wonderful sitting area, large bathroom, great shower (!), and comfortable bed. The grapefruit scented shampoo and soap was lovely. The price was very reasonable. Surfer friendly. I can't wait to stay at Agate Beach Motel again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Newport/Yaquina Head.

Cute, clean, well located property. Parking right in front, green space and a gorgeous view. Easy to rent wet suits and boards right across the highway from the property.

SOFT bed so had a rough sleep. Not only was the mattress soft (foam?) but it was an misshapen.

I can't say enough good things about this place . The customer service is the best! They are so friendly and accommodating and keep the grounds and rooms of this vintage motel in top notch shape. This was our second stay here and we will return again.

A little slice of heaven. Plenty of outdoor seating to watch the surfers below. Each unit also has its own porch with chairs! Outdoor fire pit! Adorable unit with everything you would need. Wish we could have stayed longer. HIGHLY recommend!

I highly recommend Agate Beach Motel! The location is fabulous, the rooms are charming and VERY clean, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Plus, I loved the s'more kits that we used around the gas fire pit overlooking the ocean. So happy we stayed there!

Everything! I will dream about the perfection of this motel and will judge all others based on it! Tue rooms were cute and clean and updated. The quaintness of the motel with the front porches, fire pit, and easy access to the beach all made for a dream stay. The people working there were so kind and accommodating. They kept the fire going late for us and provided us with all we needed to make s’mores. The bed was comfortable and the shower was strong and hot!

Only that we didn’t know it was going to be so fabulous so we could stay longer!

Large and comfortable rooms. I didn't like that the bathroom door was a sliding door with no lock, but wasn't a problem since it was just family. There was a beautiful view of the beach and just a short walk down a hill to get there. Overall great location

Our second stay at this motel. Staff friendly. Room very clean and everything we needed. Nice hike to the beach. Great location near Yaquina Head Natural Area National Park (go at low tide to see the tide pools with anemones and starfish) and Szabo's Restaurant.

fantastic place - might even be a hidden gem. little motel with everything you could possibly need including a cute front patio , fire pits and walking distance to the beach below. Beds were comfy, shower left nothing to be desired, hip decor, close to restaurants and the lighthouse
