Value Inn

Pool has been closed since covid and owner told me he does not expect to ever open it again. Since we arrived in March, I didn't expect it to be open. Pool should be taken off description. I would spend I night again. It was quiet

Wished had a pot of coffee going in the office. Never been any place that didn't have access to coffee. Starbucks line at Safeway 15 people deep. Go to McDonalds for coffee. Wished had 1 extra blanket on shelves. Heater was adequate but I like heavyweight blanket in winter on my bed.

Easy to find, comfortable bed

Found several hairs in the sheets & on the pillowcases. Didn't realize how close the firehouse was. Several alarms went off during the night.

Comfortable bed, mini-fridge, microwave, TV were all good

No hot water for shower in morning

Nice young male staffer at front desk was quite helpful, even went out of his way to help me cancel a reservation made in mistake... Easy in and out location. Right on my travel route.

Bed was very stiff and uncomfortable. Room was very cold. I guess heat had been off all day, and when I turned it on, it never really got the room comfortable. I was cold all night, not enough blankets to keep me warm. I use a CPAP to sleep, and there was only one electrical plug in the room I could use, just glad I thought ahead and brought an extension cord and outlet strip...
