Buckhorn Resort

Pretty place

Just a great stay and a great location for a bit of fall color touring.

The only disappointment was that the FootHills cafe was not open on the days of our stay.

Location only

Room was cold, heat didn’t seem to work well. We got in later, could order food from the restaurant to take to our room because they had a wait list. We were guest and paid a lot of money and couldn’t order food.

Location

No air conditioning, very old and dated. Smelled like mildew. For the price you pay it really needs A LOT of updates.

The secludedness

Beds are hard and neighbors had a party with loud music in the parking lot until 11 pm and ma ago did not do anything.

Internet was a bit sketchy at times. Floor creaked when we walked around, which added some charm to the place. Price truly reflected that this is a tourist destination, meaning it was higher than at other places.

I didn't realize it was a 4 wheel, snowmobile, hunting fishing, Hiking resort. We were sight seeing, not our place we would pick. It was clean and the bed was ok.

The room was very small, dark, old, needed new carpet and only a few channels on TV you could get. The room was a distance from town.

It was quiet and beautiful.

Water pressure in the shower.

Great place to stay! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights, ate at the restaurant and made friends with other travelers.
