Historic Wigwam Village No 2

The Wigwam Village in Cave City, Kentucky was a delightful experience. Anyone who enjoys staying at unique places with personality would love The Wigwam Village. Inside and out, the experience and stay were not a disappointment. Clean, great outside area, friendly owners who mailed my camera to me, as I had left it behind by accident. We would definitely stay there again.

The history is great, very peaceful and we appreciate the work you're putting in to get it back on its feet ,God Bless

Very cool stay! We enjoyed the novelty of the experience, and it was overall a neat place to stay along our route.

It needed blackout curtains, the street light lit up the inside of the teepee all night long and the beds are doubles advertised as queens, but other than that we don't have any real complaints. It was clean and we enjoyed the stay.

The Wigwam is a unique experience so to say it's rated of a 5 out of five would be subjective, but we very much enjoyed the nostalgic experience. The host was very welcoming and told us about the history which was very interesting. The Wigwam was very clean the bed was very comfortable we had our own bathroom and it was in September and had air conditioning. The Host will make a fire if you wish and then you can sit and chat with other visitors.

Bed was little to soft but was okay

So unique to live in an air conditioned impeccably clean Teepee! Fun fun experience! Cant wait to stay at the AZ Wigwam Village !

I liked EVERYTHING!

This is an awesome place for a unique getaway. It has something to make everyone happy. If you like to camp, it has a bit of a campy feel since you can grill out at the shelter, and there is an awesome fire every night to enjoy. If you like the idea of camping but want electricity, wifi, a coffee maker, a bed, air conditioning, your own bathroom, shower, and cable TV, you've got that too! The room is stocked with all the things you need too - coffee, makeup wipes, and even VIPoo ;) The rooms are clean and the beds are quite comfortable! There is an ice machine on the property as well as a full-size refrigerator for guest use and a microwave. It was nice to have our own space to go to when we wanted to be able to hang out outside with our family and also meet others visiting the property. The old school playground was a hit for the kids! There are restaurants close for food if you don't want to grill out, a Walmart within 15 minutes, and a Dollar General literally across the street (that has everything from food to clothes to ice to lighter fluid)...a lot of stops were made at the Dollar General! This is a great place for families to go and hang out but still have their own space and would be a great friend trip too. Yes, the room is small, it's a teepee, it's to be expected. The bathroom is small, too. It's still really cool!!!
