Historic Wigwam Village No 2

Very neat historic site! We were greeted by the owner and his cat and encouraged to come to a fire in the evening. Great time just sitting around the fire and talking to fellow travelers

The unique stay in a TeePee and location.

Grounds could be better kept to give better appeal. Grass was tall weeds and not weedeatered.

Wonderful experience that needs to be on your bucket list. Worth taking the time for Keith, the owner, to give you the complete history. Clean and very comfortable bed! We had fun at the campfire meeting other adventures and talking about travel. If you are visiting Mammoth NP this is the place to stay!!!

We had a great stay at Wigwam Village. Would definitely stay again.

Very unique and cool place to stay. Host was very gracious and even offered a quick history of the place. (History was optional and I recommend listening because it is interesting to learn about where you are staying) There is a bonfire every night and it was nice meeting new people and just talking!

The unique structure of motel

This is a nostalgic motel that makes use of representational architecture. The room has original furniture with clean, updated linens and wifi, and the tiled bathroom is just adorable. It is all clean and refurbished, and the staff are a delight. The playground, picnic area, and firepit are welcoming and fun. We will definitely come back!

They are currently restoring the BigWam to be a coffee shop, so it wasn't ready yet. But that is totally OKAY! It certainly wasn't a deal-breaker--and we are excited about how it will look when we return next year!
