Historic Wigwam Village No 2

Keith & Meagan were fantastic to talk with about the history and restoration of the motel. We had an excellent time during our stay and wished we had more time to enjoy the facilities further.

Nothing, everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations!

The owner is very intimidating and was not helpful and was unwilling to allow our children to sleep on their small cots. He was unpleasant and watched us as our car drove away, our children were scared and it was an unpleasant experience after a long drive.

Great atmosphere with a campfire lit at night for the guests to visit around. At check in Keith tells you the history of the place and chain. He also has delicious food recommendations for local eateries. The beds are even better than the atmosphere! They’re probably some of comfiest hotel beds I’ve even slept on.

Location was great. We had read about the wigwams and wanted to stay in one. We will be back to explore the caves.

My friend and I were having a girls get away weekend trip and I had seen an advertisement about the Wigwam Village on facebook. The bed and bedding were fantastic - I had a great nights sleep and a nice afternoon nap while it rained. We had a great time despite the weather and would definitely come back since the weather didn’t cooperate for the bonfire. We did use the grill since the area was covered and appreciated the ice machine. Everything was great! Hope you can keep this place of American history thriving and continuing on

We enjoyed our trip back to a simpler time when families vacationed by car and stayed in roadside motels. The wigwam was very clean and comfortable. The owner Keith was friendly and provided a detailed history of the concept and the property. I enjoyed the best night sleep I can remember. If you want to create a memorable family experience for your kids Wigwam number 2 is great place to experience!
