Historic Wigwam Village No 2

This is historic roadside Americana at its absolute best. The new owners are incredible respectful of its history, while also addressing the missteps of the past. Really well maintained, curated, with lots of interesting places to improve while still providing exceptional lodging. Engaging with other guests in the communal space was encouraged and we had a great experience connecting with people we may not have otherwise, all while enjoying s'mores. Got tons of recommendations of nearby spots to check out and not a single one disappointed (big shout out to Cave City Pizza, which was awesome). Can't say enough good things about staying here. Rooms were comfortable and unique, loved the binder full of history (read it cover to cover during our stay), the outdoor communal space was large, well-kept, and inviting, Keith was a really genuine and caring host, and is the perfect person to keep a place like this alive and thriving.

Wigwam Village is a blast from the past. From a time when travel was not about the destination but about the travel itself. It's a relaxing place that encourages you to set aside the electronics and enjoy life.

What a really kewl out of the box accommodation. We had a wonderful time. The owner was great. Every night he would start a bonfire, and all of us would sit out and converse. It eas nice to meet new people. I would highly reccomend.

Absolutely what we wanted…. The experience! It was quiet, original, and unique! You have got to try it!!!

Be great when the restaurant opens!

Unique property with lots of charm. The owner is friendly but not intrusive, The grounds are well maintained and the bonfire in the evening was a real treat.

Fun little place

My family of three stayed here one night during fall break. We really enjoyed the adventure. The lodging is rustic, but everything was clean, and the bedding looked brand new. The owners are working very hard to restore the village, and appear to be doing a great job so far.

New owners have refurbished many of the rooms back to its glory days. Site is very convenient to Mammoth Cave and Dinosaur World. It is a great place to stay especially if you are looking for something unique or different.
