Unique experience

Unique, clean, and comfortable accommodations. We stayed in a double with our grandson and enjoyed the experience. Recommend watching UTube reviews to have a better idea of the actual dimensions inside the structure. Glad we visited, but this is a one time visit for us.

Very cool place and on our "bucket" list to do. When we got there, we were greeted by one of the owners that provided us the history of the Wigwam Village. At night, they light a bonfire and have benches there for people to get to know one another.

Staff was rude and unaccommodating. The only time I've paid money to stay somewhere and was treated like a homeless person begging for a room, like I was being done a favor and not a paying customer.

The area is run down and felt unsafe. Looked nothing like the pictures and was run down and looked dirty. Staff was extremely rude.

Cave City is home to the earliest surviving teepee tourist court of the seven built across the US between 1937 and 1950 across the US. Owners Megan and Keith put on a great welcome and are happy to share the history of the iconic 1937 cabin court and their restoration adventure. The rooms are clean, snug and cozy with restored furnishings, modern tv, coffeemaker, etc. The courtyard between the cabins offers a broad lawn with classic playground equipment for kids and a fire pit where everyone can gather, compare notes on their travels and meet new faces. Pets are welcome for a small fee and the court’s two cats head the welcome wagon. Cave City is, like the name says, surrounded by subterranean wonders including Mammoth and many other caves and caverns, scenic drives, quirky attractions like Dinosaur Land, and is about an hour and a half from Nashville. Couldn’t be happier with the stay- only wish it could have been longer. Looking forward to coming back:)
