Woodland Motel

All around nice stay. Suggest to add dressers to the rooms.

This was our second time staying here and we liked this room even more than the last one we had. A ten minute walk to downtown is really great!

We had a wonderful stay—you can feel the love and care that the owners and staff put into the rooms and property. They were so kind and we had everything we needed. It would be perfect if there were a grassy, shady outdoor sitting area somewhere on the property.

I liked this motel. Friendly genuine staff. Felt like nothing was too much trouble. In the room there were two folding luggage stands stored on brackets. The bathroom was tight but adequate but I thought the gentle night light was a great feature too often overlooked by so-called top end hotels meaning I wasn’t blasted by a bright light in the middle of the night. Bed very comfortable.

Great location

We did not expect the kitchen. We could have stayed a week here. The room was huge for three adults with a full kitchen. Despite the town being very busy and active this place was quiet and restful. Many people had bicycles - this would be a great place to start a grand Salida adventure. The staff were very personable and helpful with lots of local knowledge.
