Great stay like always

Cute motel in a great location! Really nice staff and they clearly want to make your stay as nice as possible.

It is great little motel, rooms clean, staff great and dog friendly.

I love this place. I would much rather go to a Mom And pop style motel than a big chain. Everything is clean, unique, not cookie cutter, comfortable. We’ll stay here again next time I’m in Salida!

I haven't stayed at the Woodland for 30 years until recently. It was well-managed then and superbly managed now. The staff were friendly, engaging, and gracious. The accommodations uber clean. Local coffee in the room! Well-behaved dogs welcome (they offer dog beds & bowls if needed). A nostalgic, comfortable, AND affordable stay within easy walking distance to downtown Salida and 100 yards from a river walk system. The free cruiser bikes were a pleasant surprise though it was snowing and we did not use them. It's an older building, so it's not 'fancy.' If fancy is primary, check out other digs. We look forward to another stay

Liked: kitchen, fold out bed, double rooms. Disliked: lack of screens in rooms, size of main room screen.

This property has no kitchen. They can't provide a hot breakfast, but they do have delicious snacks available in the office for those who want something with their room coffee.

I love staying here when my son and I head up to Monarch. Such a nice, friendly vibe, not directly in town and it has plenty of parking. Everyone who works there is always so friendly, and helpful with local questions like where is the best breakfast burrito. Thank you!

Sweet little spot with nice touches like a spider plant in the room. Easy walking into town.

It was my first time there, and it was a great stay.
