Great place to stay in Salida. Very dog friendly. Easy access to the town and the nearby activities.

A nice, basic, budget motel just across a park from the Arkansas River. Walkable to downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A bit of road noise, but not bad. We were off the main street.

The two women that run this hotel were very friendly and offered exceptional service. I enjoyed my experience here and loved the small touches like the free cup of spider plant snippings!

salida is a wonderful mountain town and the woodland motel offers tremendous value in a clean facility with friendly and accomodating staff, clean as a whistle, comfortable beds and great showers. our room had microwave and refrigerator/freezer. the motel is under half a mile from F street shopping as well as the dining center of Salida ...... and the river walk. the hot tub is fabulous and the hotel is quiet after hours. the grab and go snacks, as well as the coffee and tea are greatly appreciated. bring your own dish soap so you can clean up.

The shower was really small, the refrigerator was really loud. The blankets were smelly.
