"Pleasant"

Other guests were smoking outside the hotel which made the smell very unpleasant, suggesting the hotel to restrict the area of smoking to reduce disturbance to non smoking guests,. Otherwise the hotel is excellent.

"It was an amazing and comfortable experience off the beaten track."

Very clean, very authentic, good food, nice staff. The food was really tasty and we got to try lots of new things. It is family run and the hosts were so amazingly welcoming. Recommend anytime! The Onsen was nice and clean. If it is not really busy, they will convert one of their Onsens into a private Onsen for you as a couple.

"Lovely onsen but no dinner"

Onsen bath was really nice and the Ryokan allowed us to bathe together as a couple.

There was no dinner provided at the Ryokan so we didn't get the full experience we were looking for.
