Location ONLY- Failure to notify us about the unit we booked on line not being available. We asked and booked for a unit that had a full kitchen. We got there only had a microwave and mini fridge. The unit we booked we were told has not be available for some time due to the building those are in were damaged by the hurricane. We understand that but why are you allowing those rooms to be advertised as available. We could have booked another location that provided what we were looking for. That’s a bait and switch scheme. And then to have the staff act as if it was no big deal. No discount offered no apology offered. It was if we should have known.

The way we were dismissed as if we were the problem. I booked the type of room we wanted for reasons. To be talked to as if it was our fault they didn’t have those rooms open was just insane. We booked well in advance and could have had some form of notification that those rooms would not be open. At least to allow us to make the decision to either keep the reservation or go some place else. Then nothing was said at check in. We found out when we checked into the room, only then were we informed by the staff the room we booked was not available. REALLY? The entire hotel seems sketchy at best. Be warn, it’s not a good idea to stay there.

It was not what was advertised so nothing in the state it is in now.

It’s literally washing away into the sea! It is not what is advertised. The water is rushing and waves crashing onto the hotel even at the first floor level.

Bait and switch from what was advertise. We wanted a certain type of room with the kitchen, and we never informed that those type of rooms were not open or available. They booked us took our money. We booked way ahead n advance, given this business plenty of time to reach out to us to let us know the status of the room. We booked through booking.com and they tried to blame it on them, however, hotels are responsible for updating their information on those sites so again it falls back onto business to make sure you’re putting the right information out there. It wasn’t like we waited till the last minute. The room was clean, however, the toilet was backed up when we first got there, a hole in the bathroom door, the pool was disgusting with bird crap everywhere, and parking is limited. And due to areas of the hotel, not being accessible, they have extension cords running from one building to another and the light flicker constantly in the room. We were so worried about a possible fire since we were staying on the third floor. I understand that your dealing with reconstruction but customer care is still an expectation of your customers. Simple awareness goes along way, and this motel just does not seem to be in tune with that. We will not be visiting this motel again. We wish you good luck and remember fraudulent advertising is a crime.

Not really any parking. Since the last storm, there is a lot of sand still where parking is and needed repairs which it looks like they are doing

The motel was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. And being right on the water was amazing.

The parking was a bit of a problem but that was mostly due to the sand. It would be great to have more parking in front of the building. There was only enough room for 4-5 cars. We were able to park across the street which was fine because it was still very close by.
