right on the ocean actually to close much beach erosion the room was slightly in disrepair softh and loose flooring loose plumbing fixtures,,,,,,,

The office smells mold, first thing i noticed. They told me that the room i got is across the street from the office and we cannot park our vehicle there we have to cone back to the. office and park our car there . I was so concerned of our safety because it was dark over there and they are fixing the other half of the hotel to rei forced so it won’t get swept away by the water. I called the office back and requested if we can just stay where the office at instead of across the street. I was scared. She told me that the place has no available which was BS. First, we noticed no cars on the property, second not a busy season. December 19 , 2025. I was so disappointed that they not even trying to help us so My husband and i drove a few blocks away to Hatteras Island Inn and we are the 2nd guest staying at the hotel, like i said not a busy season. We ended up staying here for the night. My husband and i drove by the office again late that night and no cars park there by the office to see if they were really booked. I will not stay and will not recommend this place to anyone.

We were not contacted ahead of our stay that the room we booked and paid for was not available due to a storm. They should of contacted me so that I could of made a decision or other arrangements that were less expensive ( since I paid for ocean view/access) they had assigned us to a different room across the street that was not worth what I paid for.

Direct aan het strand, het kan mooi zijn.

het strand was weggeslagen door storm. Parkeerplaats stond ook onder water. Er werd ook na de storm weinig aan gedaan. Kamers worden tussentijds niet schoongemaakt, er is duidelijk een gebrek aan personeel. De ramen (met uitzicht op zee) waren aangetast door zout en slecht doorzichtig. Het zwembad ging pas laat open omdat de mevrouw van de receptie zelf het zwembad nog moest schoonmaken. De wasmachine werkte niet. Er was geen waterkoker (wel in beschrijving). Geen TV-signaal. Wifi vrijwel nul. De deur was beschadigd en ging moeilijk open en dicht. Onderhoud nodig! Dit betreft gebouw D, misschien zijn de andere gebouwen beter.

Great location on beach though water/high tide at times entered area where car was parked 😬. Plenty of room in townhouse.

Not the cleanest place I've stayed. (Stains on bed cover, carpet, and couch, trash frequently around grounds). We chose a townhouse with plans to cook frequently, and while it had plenty of pots/pans, there were only 2-3 plates, bowls, cups so plan accordingly. There was dish soap but no sponge/wash cloth to wash dishes. There is a dishwasher but no soap for it so we didn't use it. We ended up buying paper plates/dishes so come prepared. The hot tub/pool are across a busy street from the townhouses, which was not always super fun to cross with 3 kids. The pool was good, but the hot tub was barely warm. There was a maintenance person that came by and asked us about the temperature which he then checked and said it was only 89 degrees. The next day we came it was still barely warm so that was a bit of a drag. The water routinely came up to the supports of the townhouse during high tide which was kind of neat, except one day we were a bit concerned for our vehicle parked behind it because the water clearly had flooded the parking lot while we were out. The staff were very nice and we aren't complainers nor expect things to be perfect. Any couple of these things we would brush off and deal with but unfortunately the list kept getting longer through our stay, especially for how much we paid to stay there vs quality of other places in the same price range.

close to wedding

rooms were very used but clean. blinds were broke, no towel rack, no blow dryer, TV internet bad, pool and hot tub dirty and closed. scratching and noise in ceiling and walls. complained to management and they said it was pigeons.

Location very nice, Staffs very nice. Sea View also very nice.

In room ,there is some mildew smell full all room. I can small it yet when I open suitcase after arrive home.

The rooms are clean and affordable, and that is absolutely right on the beach

Nothing not to like

The staff was great and the location was perfect. It was so nice to watch the sun rise and set on my balcony. The waves flowed under our hotel. It was something I’ve never experienced before.

The parking lot was flooded. Believe me we were fine with it since the location was amazing. It was just an inconvenience when unloading our bags. But I wouldn’t change a thing.
