We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Waimarie on Riverside in Nelson. The hotel has a charming cottage-style feel right on the river, and its location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk into the CBD. Our room was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the furnishings really suited the quaint character of the building. A special mention to Wayne and Kim, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after throughout our stay.

We stayed in two different rooms. Both were great but Room-1 did have some vehicle noise as it was close to the main road.

The owners are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great location, and a lovely, comfortable, clean room. Would love to stay here again when visiting Nelson.
