Pinkys Pod at Rock Lodge

Located next to a farm, our daughter loved having the chickens and pigs right outside every morning ☺️

We thought it was perfect, just what we were looking for as a family of three.

Pod was what we expected. Feeding the chickens and pigs was fun, and the location was perfect for getting into Alnwick town centre,Alnwick gardens, and Alnwick Castle.

Single pod - very private.

Sofa bed a little hard, but compared to personal preference.

The pigs and chickens were excellent hosts, as were the humans. The pod was adorable and very comfy.

Comfortable. Great location. Lovely owners. Feeding the hens and pigs ( the Trotters - Rodney and Del Boy 😂)

As a family of 4 two adults and 2 kids 9 and 12 we absolutely loved our stay in Pinky's Pod. The host Jen welcomed us straight away and she was lovely. Jen introduced the The pigs and the chickens which are awesome and the kids loved them. We made sure to bring them apples which they did enjoy and surprised us how Rodeny ( one of the pigs ) came bounding over like a giant labrador for his apple at the call of his name 😂. The pod had everything you need and was more than comfy. We enjoyed the privacy at night with the firepit. It's a perfect location for a good base between Alnick and Bamburgh for days out. We couldn't of been happier and will love to come back one day.

Easy to find and great location for day trips Bigger than it looks Good facilities Good sized tv Chickens and pigs to feed each day were an added treat Comfortable double bed and great pillows

Sofa bed isn’t very comfortable Curtain/blind are quite thin (just to bear in mind if you’re sensitive to light first thing) There’s a musty smell which I can only attribute to the ‘pod’ design materials Bathroom doesn’t have heating and so towels wouldn’t dry (perhaps would only be an issue in the cooler months)

Beautiful location exceptional accommodation Shaun and Jen were perfect hosts
