Great location, the kids loved feeding the pigs and Jen and Shawn were lovely and helpful. Pod is cosy and spacious with everything you could possibly need.

An amazing little stay at the pod, everything we could need, spacious bathroom and shower, kitchenette was more than enough, little fire pit to have marshmallows and cheese, bed was SO comfortable, space heater that heated up the place quickly so we didn't need it very much. Got the chance to speak with the host for a bit and feed the pigs (at my request as I'd brought apples for them) which were so lovely and Chickens were adorable. Animals weren't intrusive or anything, quite happy to keep to themselves unless you want to interact with them. Host was so so lovely and accommodating, tea, coffee, biscuits and milk provided, soft blanket on the chairs outside so we could sit outside all cozy, I've done nothing but rave about this little hidden spot to everyone who will listen and already planning to come with my parents so they can enjoy the atmosphere on our next family trip. If you enjoy a nice little private getaway where you can chill or visit local spots, this is the place honestly. I actually cannot wait to come back.

Loved the cabin. Couldn't see it at first when parked up but it was set back behind a big fir tree. Inside was really clean, cosy. Bed was very comfortable. Even though it was basic, there was everything we needed. No hob but does have, kettle, toaster and microwave. Which was fine as we didn't eat anything except snacks and breakfast in there. The pigs and chickens were an added bonus for the kids as you can feed them. Owners were really friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Did get cold on a night and in a morning but there is a heater and it soon warmed up. In summer it would be lovely and warm.

Only downside is I now need to clean my car! Not a problem with the accommodation but where the parking is, is under some trees where the birds like to be so they left a mess on the car!

Theres not much to be honest

Location is superb and I’m sure if we had travelled in the Summer we would have utilised more of the outside space

The only thing for me being short was I couldn’t see in the mirror very well 😂

Our family loved our stay here. The children loved the pigs and chickens. We loved the ease of access to our daytime destinations and the quiet location to rest. Though we were close to the road the noise of traffic did not disturb this. We all felt very welcomed by the owners. This accommodation was very reasonably priced which gave us more freedom to pay for activities. We shall definitely stay again.

Sadly the location of the pod isn't great, you can hear the traffic thundering past on the A1. Although earplugs were provided for sleeping, relaxing outside in the evening wasn't an option which made it difficult once my son had gone to sleep.

The hosts were really nice, kind and welcoming. It’s a really cute glamping pod that contains everything you could need. We loved the pigs and the chickens. Ideal location for exploring the area.
