I had a wonderful stay at Mustika Ocean Lodge as a solo traveler. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special, particularly Luky, Rizky, Rosid, and Tika, whose kindness and personal attention made a lasting impression. The location is excellent, just a short distance from the town and also from one of the best beaches on Gili Air. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The lodge itself has a beautiful garden setting with an authentic island feel. I loved the charming decor, especially the unique cottages designed like boats; it really adds character to the place. My room was comfortable, and everything was very good. Breakfast each morning was nice. Considering the quality of the experience, the room rates are very affordable. I would absolutely recommend Mustika Ocean Lodge, especially for solo travelers, but also for couples, looking for a warm, friendly, and relaxing place to stay.

Very cozy garden, comfortable room with a large bathroom. Super helpful and friendly staff, and a lot of small perks (free snorkel equipment, yoga mat, water refill…etc) to make your stay even more comfortable. Cute cats. We loved it!

It's a family owned business and the family were lovely and accomodating.

Unfortunately, it's located right next to a nearby Mosques loud speaker. Which means, you hear the entire, loud, 15-minute call to prayer song at 4:30am every morning (and then a few more times throughout the day).

I stayed in a private bungalow that was spacious, comfortable, and had a large bathroom. The location was convenient, just 10 minutes from the beach, with bike rental available at a good price. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was good and the facilities were well maintained. Highly recommend!
