PASADENA Floating Houseboat

It is one of the best boathouse near Dal lake. Their hospitality is unmatched. The Kawa which was served was delicious. They were really kind and friendly to us . It was a beautiful comfortable evening by the river. The bedroom is extremely comfortable. The food that they prepared was amazing

Enjoyed every bit of our stay at this humble but hearty place. Mr Suhail was an absolute joy to have as our host. We had a simple but delicious home made food after a tiring day and it was just the thing we needed. For those seeking a quiet and extremely hospitable stay should pick this.simply awesome with super hospitality and world class interiors and comfort . The staff were awesome with super home made delicious food . I would recommend Pasadona Floating Castle boats at Dal lake to everybody to enjoy the true flavour of Kashmir .

first time living in a houseboat and honestly loved the surrounding , loved the atmosphere over here. Really satisfied with what we got and I really appreciate it way too much. Keep it well , everything is well organized too so yea I absolutely loved it. Last but not the least we got to meet some amazing people who know how to treat people well. Thanks to you Mr Suhail for arranging the trip for us and thanks to Chacha for making our stay comfortable, my son had an amazing time with you. Pro tip - book Shikara ride in advance. Mr Suhail will help to get a good deal. And for smokers, dont miss kesar paan shisha when you visit Dal lake ;)

We stayed there for 4 days. Initially we planned to stay for one night but it was so comfortable and friendly that we did not move and our two years old daughter was super happy with the owners’ company and enjoyed a lot. They are welcoming, helpful and down to earth people. Food and stay are homely!The great mountain views make it a pleasure just to sit at the veranda and watch life at the lake go by. They can also book you activities in the area, such as day trips or multiple day mountain trekking, which I did. The insides of these house boats is lovely, with antique furniture and reasonably good beds, including one special with wood carvings. The service is excellent. So even just staying on the boat will give you a nice and relaxing day. Definitely recommended.

The day got over.

It was the worst possible day. After an excellent experience at Gulmarg, our expectations were sky high for the houseboat experience at the Dal lake. However, we were made to stay at another boat, which certainly did not have a label of Pasadona. The room and the stay was worse than a 500Rs Oyo room(believe me... I'v experienced that too). The staff(there was only one) present/absent when called, had a breathtaking technique of steering the conversation in the direction he wanted to, i.e. the stuff he did not want to do. Calling someone for assistance took forever. All throughout the stay, the owner and the rest of the people involved made us feel they were out to suck the last penny they could from you, including one of his brother/relative who Mr Suhail introduced, would take us around the city. This guy was supposed to drop us to the airport early in the morning, but expectedly reneged on his word, leaving us to arrange for alternate arrangement at the 11th hour. All in all it soured what could have been a great vacation. I would advise against booking a houseboat online, and certainly not PASADONA. Might as well throw the money down the lake and avoid a painful experience.

It was great experience. Last day of our trip and it was as relaxing as it can get.food was Good & cleaning was proper. Please check out the place. It is a nice houseboat.

Highly highly recommended, the stay here was so homely and comfortable. Staff & Owner was so polite and so honest , they help us plan the whole trip. Food they provide u in the houseboat itself is home cooked and delicious. Location- perfect. One can enjoy the whole view of lake from here. Transport- 24 hours boat service available.

The fact that this houseboat is gorgeous with all the intricate cedarwood carvings, perfectly adorned interiors coupled with an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas doesn't even begin to describe why I'm in love with this place. As soon as we reached the dock, we were greeted by an entourage of staff and were seated in the houseboat Front Area with a nice hot cup of Kahwa and assorted cookies. The owner personally greeted us and as we spoke about our trip,we instantly knew we were going to enjoy every bit of our experience in the houseboat. The owner spoke to us for a good hour about his travels and experiences about the world and personally made sure we were taken care of with a scrumptious Kashmiri dinner. The chef also delivered on our dessert request. The staff were so polite and welcoming and took care of our every need no matter what. There's something to say about the hospitality & extreme kindness of the Kashmiri people and this place definitively deserves an award for the best hospitality ever. I definitely recommend this place, not just for the experience of staying in a luxurious and well maintained houseboat, but for everything in between. I promise your heart will be full with love for the people of Kashmir and you'll want to come back for more because of how well the owner and the staff take care of you at the Pasadona Floating Castle Houseboat 🚢⛵!

ACCOMODATION Very nice and clean houseboat, including big rooms and hot shower. Nice breakfast as well to start your day with. They take good care of cooling down the houseboat on hot days. Absolutely beautiful for your stay on Dal Lake. SERVICE: This was really amazing. Suhail and Jamsheed will take great care of you. They are local, trustworthy and beyond helpfull. They can advise and plan your trip to the region, and they have a connection to a local guide for the 'Great Lake Track'. The guide (Jamsheed) will give your the best experience on the track. OVERALL For me a 100% recommendation, and a lot of added value for your stay in Kashmir. You won't regret!

Location is fantastic - it's in Golden Dal lake, the most beautiful place at stay with the most amazing views. this is the only place in India I received this treatment. Especially Suhail ( owner) who always looked out for me. however, the others are extremely friendly. Super recommended for Men & women traveling alone or With family / Couple 👨‍❤️‍👨! Also the kitchen and 'great and are always willing to get you what you ask for ... and more' have fun a lot !!! Do not miss
