We felt very safe here. Motel is directly on the beach, sunrises & sunsets were beautiful.

Location was perfect, beautiful views and sounds from the waves.

The beds were terrible, literally my only complaint - I barely slept.

This is one of the best locations that you can stay in the northeast. As you can see by the pics, the view from our room was AMAZING! If you are looking for a glitz and glam modern hotel, this isn't it. But if you are looking for a quaint and comfortable stay with amazing views, friendly people, and a feels like home vibe, this is it! We stayed with our two teens and they loved it. Back door takes you right to the beach and there are cute little seating areas outside of the property as well. Coffee and pastries in the morning were a welcome touch. Short train ride to Salem (we were there during October) and short drive into Rockport which has beautiful views and a lot of cute shops. This is the getaway you have been looking for. I almost hate to write a review and give it away!

The bathrooms do not have vents, so that makes it a little uncomfortable when showering and dressing in the bathroom if you are with multiple family members, but nothing we couldn't manage and to be expected for a little older building. Nothing that were deter me and it shouldn't deter you either! Everything else totally made up for this.

Perfect location!

No elevator. Carrying luggage up a flight of stairs is challenging!

Great place and right on the beach. Will definitely be booking here again
