I liked that you could book a private time at the outdoor onsen. The staff were very friendly and warmly welcomed foreign visitors, doing their best to communicate in English.

I think the indoor bath and shower area need a bit of refurbishing.

Établissement traditionnel, tout le confort nécessaire y était. Le onsen est très agréable, le plus pour nous a été de pouvoir le privatiser 30 minutes, utile quand on est pudique :).

Excellent traditional Ryokan, Japanese breakfast oustanding, private mixed onsen time slot booking possible and inclusive in price, unfortunately time slot only 30 minutes but it s an outstanding outside and spacious onsen pool, they did their best to explain everything regarding room and stay despite some language difficulties

Underbar Ryoka med supermysigt Onsenbad både inne och ute. Vi kunde boka privat tid på kvällen för bara mig och min man. Personalen fantastiskt vänlig.

Lite svårt för personer i vår ålder (65+) allt sitta typ på golvet. Stolarna på rummet saknade ben. Frukosten var intressant men lite av en utmaning.

Wonderful stay. The service, location and ryokan were perfect. We had the most delicious dinner at the ryokan and enjoyed the beautiful private onsen.

La chambre était très confortable et jolie. Nous avions accès à un onsen collectif et nous avons même pu privatiser un créneau dans le onsen extérieur. C'était une superbe expérience.
