Die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich sehr freundlich, höflich und zuvorkommend. Sehr hilfsbereit. Das Onsen, was draußen ist, ist sehr schön und angenehm. Man konnte es sich pro Zimmer für eine halbe Stunde reservieren.

The family who runs the ryokan is super friendly, nice and help us with every question. The Onsen experience was perfect. We had half an hour privat time and it was absolutely peaceful and more than enough in the hot water.

Very comfortable room, wonderful hospitality, and lovely outdoor onsen with private slot you can reserve. The indoor baths were nice too. We did the kaiseki dinner and breakfast and both were delicious, definitely worth it for us.

Beautifully decorated ryokan and fabulous outdoor onsen, one of the best I've used in Japan. The staff were very warm and welcoming and assisted with my luggage up and down the stairs and drove me to the train station on checkout as its a difficult steep longish walk with a heavy suitcase. Prob the best place to stay in The area if you can't book into Shibu onsen 👌

Overnight stay and optional dinner were expensive, particularly for the off-season in February. Indoor onsen was very small.

We enjoy Yadanaka Tawaraya Ryokan for the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and entire property, as well as the onsen experience of both the indoor and outdoors. The location from the train station is within walking distance by using the pathway and parking is very good if you have a car. We visit every year when skiing Shiga Kogen resorts. Restaurants are very convenient for walking too.

There is nothing to dislike.
