Very accommodating, we asked for a Muslim breakfast and without asking provided us with a prayer rug. Very caring people and amazing cozy vibe to the place.

Creo que nunca había puesto un 10 a un alojamiento hasta ahora, éste se lo ha ganado con creces. Increíble la amabilidad de los señores Kobayashi, no solo se prestan a recogernos en la estación de tren con su furgoneta sino que nos llevan sin coste adicional al parque de Jigokudani. Por otro lado, el ryokan está impecable, limpio y decorado con atención a los detalles. El onsen privado es un auténtico lujo, hasta tiene un sillón de masajes maravilloso. Una recomendación adicional: nosotros dudamos si coger la cena que ofrecen en el ryokan por 6000¥, y finalmente la cogimos. ¡Menos mal que lo hicimos! Resultó ser una de las mejores cenas de nuestro viaje. Estilo kaiseki, hecha allí mismo y servida a la manera tradicional, merece muchísimo la pena. Por último, me gustaría destacar un detalle: nuestra reserva incluía el desayuno, pero lamentablemente nos teníamos que ir muy temprano al día siguiente y no podríamos degustarlo. Al hacérselo saber a la señora Kobayashi, nos descontó el coste del desayuno del coste total de la estancia. Su honradez, su sonrisa con todos los huéspedes, su amabilidad extrema, la exquisitez de la cena y lo impecable del ryokan les hace más que merecedores de un 10. No me cansaré de recomendarlo a todo mi entorno y, si vuelvo, por supuesto volveré a hospedarme aquí.

We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at Yudanaka Yasuragi. Both were exceptional and I would highly recommend, We also enjoyed the privte onsen.

Lovely little traditional onsen ryokan run by a family. Love the private bathing. Great breakfast and dinner!

We wanted a more traditional experience and it had everything. Beautiful owners of this ryokan, onsen for your daily shower or bath, we had a traditional Japanese meal with many many courses. They drove us to the snow monkey park which was fantastic and we loved staying in a very small community right near the monkeys. 7 Eleven very close. The most wonderful hosts. Everything so clean and perfect and traditional. Exactly what we wanted.

everything. absolutely perfect staff and service. they drive you to and from the station as well as the monkey park ! both public and private onsen available and sooooo warm and absolutely amazing!! felt so relaxed. rooms warm and comfortable even in the snowy weather !!

The kaiseki dinner was PHENOMENAL, as was the breakfast. The traditional room was beautiful and plenty of room for us and our two infants on the three comfy futons. Amazing views and so great to have Private onsens to use. Great to have easy parking and very close to the Monkey Park.
