24 Gower Holiday Village

Location was good. Kids play area and swimming pool although didn't use either. Good shower pressure and temperature.

Not clean at all - dirty towels left from previous occupants, shower was dirty, brown stains on the duvet covers, smell of damp and mould throughout, curtains with brown stains. Various things broken and not maintained - TV not working, hooks falling off doors, clothes dryer broken, chest of drawers broken, kitchen sink ran out of hot water, windows not closing properly.

We had a fantastic mini break staying here. It was very clean, quiet, central to what we had planned to do which was walk from Rhossili to Port Eynon. Absolutely stunning views and a wonderful experience. The actual walking took us 3.5 hours, but we stopped along the way. It is worth noting that to get a taxi back to Rhossili was not easy. We were helped by one of the friendly shop owners at Port Eynon who gave us a number. Cash only! There is a bus but you have to change buses & time your walk to end with it. The village shop next door to the village (had started giving cash back the week before we arrived) saved us & the taxi stopped for us on our way back to the National trust car park at Rhossili. The excellent fish & chip shop next to the Gower holiday village is also cash only. The beds were comfortable & there were black out curtains in both bedrooms. Proper kitchen set up. Easy key system check in & out. Thank you!

Lovely chalet! Really clean! Great shop very close to site with lots of fresh produce for sale! Nice little chippy very close! On a bus route to the best places south gower has to offer! Strawberry picking close by! Dog friendly!

Holiday chalet was clean, tidy and well equipped. It was in a quiet location, ideal for a pleasant short break. Shop on the corner to cater for longer breaks.

One niggle. There needs to be a rail near wash hand basin for the hand towel.

The geographic location of the Holiday Village is good.

When I arrived at bungalow no. 24 (privately owned - that has a 'keysafe' but with no code provided...) it was not ready for us. Called the property owner who explained that Booking.com did not inform them about our arrival/ booking. I complained saying that this is unacceptable as we are now at the place (after travelling a long distance) and they need to find a solution. The property owner contacted the Holiday Village and arranged a replacement bungalow which is not exactly the same as bungalow 24 (e.g.: replacement bungalow's location is not great and is much smaller, with 2 single beds instead of a double bed in each room, no complimentary Welsh cakes, milk/ coffee or water in the kitchen as advertised - no food/ drinks at all in the kitchen). Also, we were provided with just 1 single toilet roll for two adults staying two nights...!!!.

I like how the holiday villiage is very central to all the different places we visit while down there.

Very good location, nice bungalow, well equipped with everything you need.

The heating was off when we arrived and the place was freezing cold. It was very difficult to heat it up to a comfortable level.
