24 Gower Holiday Village

Another great stay at #24: super-clean, well-equipped, location is great for Rhossili and co. in one direction and Port Eynon and Horton in the other. Our children love the swimming pool to finish off the day (currently open until 6pm) and the shop and chip shop by the site mean it's not far to go for bits and pieces and an easy meal.

We'd have stayed for longer! :-) It's worth knowing that Scurlage itself isn't much of a place and that you will have to drive out to the beaches – but they are very close by and a very easy drive; you're also very close to Reynoldston and Cefn Bryn.

It was great for what we needed.

I think wifi would have been a good shout considering location but not the end of the world

The inside of the bungalow was immaculate, there were even some essential items I.e washing up liquid, cleaning products and dishwater tablets.. The bungalow was cosy. The site was quiet. The dog was happy The host was great with communication

The mattress in the bungalow was thin...the weather wasn't great and the noise at night coming from the back of the bungalow, outside was unbelievable..rattling, banging etc.in the wind The whole village is very run down. No one around

No staff in reception, I did not know the pool was closed in November

Lounge and kitchen dining area, very nice, really appreciated having washing up liquid and cleaning clothes etc Towels etc the host had thought of all those little extras you generally have to bring if renting a holiday home

The mattresses on the beds. singles were too firm and the double was too soft and almost collapses at the edges. In addition it smelled very damp.
