CW77 St Osyth Beach Holiday Park

Close proximity to the beach. Has basic equipment needed for our stay.

We were quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. The cupboards were filled with duvets, which left no room for our belongings. There were some items left under the bed. The sofas appeared stained, and the toilet didn’t appear clean when we arrived.

Other than the location , the caravan was DISGUSTING!!! And the what I can only imagine is the rental manager not the actual caravan owners attitude is beyond a joke when immediately approached about the filth throughout the caravan. I completely get the logistics of self cleaning a caravan in between bookings if you don’t want to pay for it , but surely you would expect a supervisor to check the clean after. In this instance a cleaner apparently did clean it before our arrival , unfortunately she must have been wearing goggles because it was filthy. To make matters worse when I tried to discuss with the booking agent his/her attitude was shocking , “well things do get missed” and “our cleaner is not tall enough to get on top of the cupboards” - ok great we will just make do with food all over the floor , vodka lids , bags of rubbish , rizlas and fag butts ( for rolling spliffs ) , dirty socks stuffed behind radiators and filthy sofas and carpets then without one apology.

The crap left from the previous guests , whether or not through no fault of there’s which was not only left by the person managing the booking , but not actioned on and basically shrugged off as if it was acceptable. Also Ripped cushions Leaking shower Traces of drug use on top of cupboards ( we had kids with us )

The caravan on its own was ok.

There was a mess left in the caravan. The fridge was disgusting,pieces of lettuce left over. Toilet and flors in tragic condition.The worse part was the sofa,stains everywhere...

Dirty sofa and lots of cigarette butts front of main door. Need deep clean

Very dirty furniture and carpets, owner should clean time to time,not a nice smell,and you have to bring your own bed sheets and covers, other ways you have to pay extra, never heard something like that, 😕, Very disappointed, never again, different bugs and spiders crawling all over the caravan, specially bathroom,

Maybe the area, nothing else

Firstly the location was perfect.. the fact that you are right next to the sea with a lovley little private beach is just amazing. My 11 year old daughter had lots to do for the arcade to the swimming pool! All in all a lovely place to stay! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the caravans are surprisingly extra clean considering you do the cleaning yourselves and pets

Cleanliness

The caravan was very close to the complex, it was easy to find with the instructions given and was as described. As it is a self clean caravan, this means the caravan is only as clean as the previous person has left it. The caravan was clean when we arrived, we did clean it again once we arrived just toale it clean for us. The property was well equipped with all kitchen utensils and all electricals worked as needed. With everything being said, my family had a great stay and I would definitely stay again.

The pillows were very flat, I think new pillows are needed as they are too flat to sleep on and can cause headaches if this is not your preferred height. The second problem is the caravan had a lot of ants, these were located within the kitchen area only and can be slightly annoying.
