CW77 St Osyth Beach Holiday Park

The bed was comfortable. The open plan was nice. The actual staff at the holiday park were nice, and the dogs were comfortable, these were the only saving graces.

The whole place was filthy, considering I got a blunt message from the owners prior to coming saying that if we leave anything dirty that we will be charged so much for each issue that they found, I thought I would be staying somewhere clean. The oven was black with grease (refused to touch it our entire stay, I'm not eating near it) and the grey sofas were brown, including the dining area. Thankfully we had brought our own blankets to sit on, but we couldn't settle because it was dirty. For context, the toilet wasn't even flushed when we went to use it and we had to wash up all of the cutlery, plates and cups before use, not great when you've only just started your holiday. I understand that it is a dog friendly place, however I would expect that it would at least be cleaned in between use, or checked in between use, how someone didn't spot an unflushed toilet is beyond me. Communication with the owners was poor at best and I felt like I was bothering them for simple questions that are normal before a stay.

Dirty sofas, dirty and sticky floors. Dirty shower!! Not many cups, bowls or plates in the kitchen.

The caravan was warm and comfortable

My biggest grievance was finding it, the booking.com site map, was totally wrong, it show a completely empty plot, it needs updating,

Nothing absolutely disgusting, dirty bed cover, dirty sofas. Mould everywhere and best of all comes with bed bugs

it was spacious, clean and very homely x

We realise it's a static van but has a bad smell of damp in bedroom and furniture in main room otherwise nice and clean good facilities

Nothing at all everything was poor and unhygienic.

1. Carevan smells like cigarette 2. The floor was not vacuumed, disgusting full of human and dog hair , the bed, pillows and duvet were full of dog hair 3. The duvet and pillow cases were so dirty absolutely unwashed stinky with white stains and blood stains and unhygienic so I called the owner to ask for another set of duvet and pillow cases but he was extremely rude and yelled at me that they are clean and there are another set in the the room (they stinks even worse) that I couldn’t even touch them . He started to shout and said if i want clean i have to bring with me and he hanged up on me! 4. We were already tired and wanted to rest but we couldn’t because of the dirty bedding and we stayed in the laundry room until 10 pm to wash them all so we could sleep at night because they were extremely dirty and stinky we paid £16 to wash and dry all bedding. 5. The owner didn’t answer when we called from our number again so we called him from another number but he swore and he said f word and hanged the phone on us. 6. Sofas were also very dirty with a lot of stains 7. Inside the fridge was full of water and a big piece of ice was melting inside the fridge so i had to take it off the fridge and clean the water under the fridge’s drawers , the fridge was so dirty as well with hair inside it. 8. I turned the oven on to make food but the oven started to smoke so i turned it off straight away for our safety. Grease were so bad in the kitchen, on the oven’s tray and utensils 9. The shower was blocked and it takes minutes for the water to go down the drain
