Te Tiro Accommodation

The most beautiful accommodation we've stayed in!! The facilities, views, location. Couldn't fault it at all. Our host was lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended for a relaxing romantic weekend away.

Lovely cabin style accommodation with amazing views. Glow worms were a short walk away in the gully. Angus and Rachel were terrific hosts who helped us with touring advice when some of the roads were closed. We did make down The Forgotten World Highway after all!

The cottage was lovely, as was the view and the cute glowworm grotto

I don't have a single complaint for our stay

Location was absolutely beautiful, so gorgeous. Was also close driving distance to waitomo caves and other beautiful walks and view points which we wanted to see. Chalet itself was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids, they loved sleeping in the beds at the top of the ladders. The little walk down to the glow worms was great too and the kids loved it. Angus and Rachel were brilliant hosts, so kind and accomodating. Literally went out of their way to help us; my son still talks about the fossiled dinosaur poo which Angus showed him! Brilliant stay, couldn't recommend it more highly. Would come back in a heart beat.

The owners were very hands on. Rachel was very accommodating and took her time to show us around the place. We will definitely go back there for sure. Highly recommend!

Amazing location. Well planned arrangement of beds to accommodate a family of 4 with a double bed and mattresses in the loft. Basic amenities but had everything you needed. The views from the property were amazing. The Sinkhole and the Glow Worms were a bonus.

The toilet was outside the room, but it was not something major.

Simply stunning! So well set up and gorgeous hosts. Pity about the rain but we’ll be back :)
