The hosts are such wonderful people and very knowledgeable about the local area and its history.

Angus is a terrific host: he is communicative, responsive, and enthusiastic. The views are stunning. This is a mountain cabin experience, and Angus has done it well.

There was nothing we did not like, except that we wished we had spent a second night.

Beautiful view!! Friendliest host!! A lovely little hut in the middle of the mountain. The glowworm grotto is something very special.

Everything. Setting was amazing, breakfast supplies were great, building was beautiful. Glowworms so cool!

If anything, I’m just used to having wash cloths for shower. But it seems like many places in NZ don’t provide this as standard.

Schlafen im Zelt mit Vogelgesang als Radio, Baden in der Freiluftbadewanne mit Ausblick über die Hügel und in den Himmel, der Ausblick - es heißt nicht umsonst Te Tiro, Angus´ Einsatz zur Beratung die richtige Höhlentour für uns zu finden, insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke, Angus, deine Ideen für deine Gäste in die Tat umzusetzen!
