Te Tiro Accommodation

We loved everything about Te Tiro!!! Luxurious and quirky, very private accommodation!!! Right down our alley! Super comfy bed with plenty of space in the tent! Loved the outdoor kitchen shed and outdoor bath tub, both with the most amazing views!! Very clean bathroom with a loo with a view!!! Angus the owner was very welcoming and thought of everything, even marshmallows for the fire! Continental breakfast was included and was more than enough, cereal, yoghurt, peaches, bread, condiments, milk, coffee and juice. The property is a huge working farm and we were welcome to go exploring which I did. I made several friends (sheep) along the way and enjoyed walking around the dabchick pond by day and the glow worm grotto by night, just a few minutes walk from our tent! The tent was even air conditioned, not that we needed it as the we were blessed with the most incredible weather for our 2 night stay.

Excellent host who was more than willing to show us around and give advice on things to see and do. Happy to allow us to explore the property.

The accomodation was great. The host was very informative and helpful. Very happy with the stay.

Breathtaking views, very comfortable, private and had everything we needed.

The location and views/scenery were amazing and made it worth the stay. The hosts were very friendly and greeted us on our arrival. They also had recommendations for walks on their property (which were worth the trek) as well as the surrounding area, and good places nearby for dinner, etc.

In my opinion the place is really too small for 3 or 4 adults (we had 3 adults). Also, note: the private bathroom is detached.
