Te Tiro Accommodation

This accommodation is rustic and different from most properties because you stay in a wood cabin on a working sheep and cattle farm. You are somewhat in a remote location and you have a million dollar view from the porch of your cabin. There is even a private Glowworm grotto about 75 feet from your accommodation. You are in nature and you wake up to the songs of the birds. Angus, our host, is very personable and very knowledgeable about anything you might need to know in the area. The stay brought us closer to the family values of New Zealand farmers, very impressive to us. People are born on the farm and never will leave, it’s their fulfilling life. If you need posh hotels, this is not for you, but if you want to feel the spirit of New Zealand, go for it. We loved it!!

We were coming to visit Waitomo caves. Seems very good choice to stayed in Te Tiro. We enjoyed the stunning view of valley and farmlands. Kids love the cottage, it's very comfy and clean. Highly recommended.

Calme et très confortable avec une vue superbe

Magic spot with beautiful views. The accomodation was perfect for our group. We loved the outdoor bath & chatting around the fire in the evening. Angus is a great host & made us feel right at home.

Loved it all.

The view was spectacular and the glamping set up was comfortable and convenient. Angus was also lovely and assured we had all we needed.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable, but otherwise couldn’t fault it.
