Splendid Place

Very calm, best sleep in years.

Good location.

Parking was a big problem. I got a parking violation ticket. The owner didn't help me to solve the problem.

The whole house is very clean, nicely decorated, and has all the basic things that a traveller may need - dorm-size fridge with mini freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker (with ground coffee, sugar, and coffee whitener). The bed is a double, and the mattress is bamboo - supportive without being hard. The in-room TV is a Roku, so getting Netflix and such is quite easy. The bathroom is clean, and the hosts provide clean white towels, shampoo, and body wash. Please be a better guest than I was - if you're NOT moving your vehicle early in the morning, and you've parked behind another vehicle, please park on the street. The hosts were VERY nice about it, certainly more so than I would have been. Basically, read the instructions. >.< Close to downtown Kingston by car. I'm lazy, so I didn't walk, but most attractions are within a 5-15 minute drive.

Everything was good.

Nice quiet residential area. Very reasonable for the price. We stopped over there on the way (and return) to Quebec.

I think customers should have a priority for parking.

Familiar place, quiet & dark for sleeping, adequate cooking setup to make my own simple breakfasts.

No real issues at all.
