It was super clean, good size for a group and quiet.

The location could be better however is not difficult to get there

Just outside of Jardin, overlooking the forest. Balcony and kitchen.

Stunning location with a balcony to chill, observe the birds, qatch the sunset. Really quiet. Room was spacious and comfy.

Not much lighting. The check in process might be confusing, maje sure to read the email they will send you for it (unlike us 😅)

Rustic facilities, location was quiet and faced a large patch of greenery which allowed for birdwatching from the room in the morning

We had to collect our keys from a different hotel, so it was a slight inconvenience.

The hostal is well located. It is quiet and the view from the balcony is stunning. We could use the kitchen. The host was kind and helpful. The size of the bedroom was good.

There was a lot of dust and spider webs in the bedroom and bathroom. It smelled like mold in the bedroom. For the same price we were able to find a hotel which was very clean.

The cabañas were a good deal for us (we’re a couple traveling on a budget). They’re close to town, relatively cheap, and have a pretty view of the hills. The staff were super helpful and gave us info on local hikes in the area. Recommend!

Loved our stay here! Perfect mix of nature & town, with tons of birdwatching available from the balcony while still only being 5 mins walk from town. Kitchen was well stocked for 2 people to cook (perhaps not 6 when it is full) & place was kept tidy.

No hot water although there should have been - I reached out to Juan twice but it never got fixed. As other reviews mention, the key in the front door is fairly impossible (you have to gently wiggle while turning) & the balcony is shared (not a negative but worth mentioning). Beds were not particularly comfortable.
