Great place! You're not going to get a lower priced place to stay right in the centre (7 mins walk to the main shopping street). It's a very basic room, but if you're like me and can sleep anywhere and don't mind the occasional mosquito, etc, then this is great for you. Also, it's right in the middle of an awesome little village, with such kind-hearted people who I met and spoke to everyday. It's a really safe and friendly neighborhood there. If you want a more authentic experience rather than staying in a city hotel, this is the better choice, especially for the price. Udi is an amazing guy too, making me coffee and fried banana every morning, also doing me other favours! You're also right next to so many street shops and food, which are so cheap! I rented a scooter during my stay and it was so cool driving down and seeing the little side streets that lead to this homestay. The kids would always stop me to greet and say hello I also enjoyed having the cats around, they're really friendly

The homestay isn't on Google maps and Grab, so you have to put something else nearby. I always used 'Bakmi Pak Man' haha. Not really something I didn't like but thought I'd write it here.

Friendly family and it's close to malioboro road.

The room was dirty, especially the bathroom smelled really bad. Only got one small blanket and 1 towel (for 2 people) after we asked for them. The pictures do not display reality well.
